I Play

Hello out there!! The Patriot vs. Jacksonville game is playing on the tv in the playroom. I can hear the cheers of the fans in the stands and the chatter of the announcers. Jacksonville is down by 11 with 22 seconds left to go in the fourth quarter. It's about this time were the team loses heart. I hope our volleyball team and basket ball team never get so discouraged over a bleak game that they won't play their best. I was in the starting line up in our last volleyball game. At other games I was well acquainted with the bench, but not at this game. I sat on the bench once. I guess that's what it feels like to be a starter. I remember one play... (I think Lizzie was the setter) two hits and the ball was hovering towards the floor on our side of the net right in front of me; so I set and spike. I watched as one of the girls on there team try to bump it up, but never returned. Point! Mom is writing out our "Christmas" letter. Finally. I'm helping mom stuff the envelopes. I have special music tomorrow, another vball game on Mon., and on Thursday I'm goint to help redecorate our "new" "youth center". Fun to look forward to, and things to get through with. I hope you write very soon again.
