It Rained In Texas Today
Well the rain was a few days ago, but it still rained!! It reminded me of Oregon. I miss Oregon, but I'm having a lot of fun with my new friends, Nareda and Erin. Claudia says I better be having fun or she's gonna kill me, so yes, I'm having a good time. I don't know if I like working in the kitchen or in hospitality better. Working in the kitchen makes my feet hurt, but hospitality wears me out. The weekend is coming soon. I can't believe I've almost been here a week! I'll try to fit some more blogging in later.

I miss COLD rain...here, it's HOT rain..and it never stops...and it doesn't drizzle, it pours with really REALLY high winds... ((sigh)), I'm glad it's October. Right now, it's about 28* (70-something), sunny, not too humid, very light breeze, the palm trees are swaying, the water is making a steady rhythm as it lapps the shoreline, the pool is open (wait, it's never closed), and I think I'm going to go down for a swim pretty soon.
Hmmm...Texas...I think I'll have to go sometime...sounds pretty fun for the most part! MISS YOU TONS!!!!! <3
Hey Sarah!
Of course you had fun with us :) I have skimmed/read your whole blog from beginning to end, very interesting! I hope you have fun without us being there (lol)... is that possible? ... yes ;)
Keep us updated,

Um, you probably wouldn't like Texas... sorry Kristy (since you complain so much about the weather in HK and give us the weather report...). And Nareda!! We are all missing the twins. It isn't as lively at the dinner table. I miss our chats darling. ;) By the way... it Sara. For future reference. Didn't you ever hear me rant about that? I guess not.
Question Kris-ty doesn't the wind chill help with the heat some? I know here in the "Home of the east wind"(Corbett) The wind chill could freeze the Sahara Desert. (Kidding, ..... a little)
I don't think there is chill in the wind dude. Like in Texas, the wind is still warm... ick.
The wind has just started to blow hard around here and it makes it pretty chilly.
They call it Chicago: The Windy Corbett.
John
It's true.
to answer your question, Tim: no, the breeze is warm, sometimes hot, remember one thing: humidity.
I must say that I HAVE been carrying around a jacket lately..it's still in the low 70s outside, but to me it's actually kinda cold. But no, I'm not complaining. I'm starting to love the weather in HK.
excuse me: the winds are also warm and sometimes hot..not just the breezes...
:P
Thank you for the weather report.
John
Sounds like the H&K weather gun to me.
