My Bonus

So the brilliant idea was to go to the grand opening of the Clackamas REI. We left our house at 5:30 and got there at 6:00. After eating my breakfast in the car, I lay on one of the benches in the van with Luara on top of me. Her down comforter was nice. I tried to get a little more sleep in, but it was a hard task. Laura wouldn't stop yacking her head off. It was fun. After an hour of trying to stay cozy in the freezing van, James came and told Evan and I that we should come stand in line with them (so as not to cut off a lot of people in line... like it would make a BIG difference.) Evan was nice enough to let me use his partner's discount at Starbucks when I got a mocha. Free pastries, hackey sack, and talking to a lady from The Oregonian, were all part of the morning. Finally, at ten o'clock, the doors opened for the first time to welcome customers. Mom, Evan, John, James, and I all recieved a free water bottle (commemorating the day) with a gift card inside. Gift cards had a credit of $5-$100. We all received $5 git cards, except for me. Mine had (has) a value of $100.

Awww... isn't that nice! I guess you are pretty special! I am so glad you're alive. I thought that maybe you had been "accidently" put away or something by some secret enemy (no I did not).
:) ttyl,
Naredah (I am sad to tell you that I know way more Sarah's than Sara's so....you are pretty special, in a good way)

One hundred dollar gift certificate to REI. Very impressive. Know what your going to get with it? Or did you already spend it all?

Sara said...

Nope, and I've not spent any of it yet. The boys are thinking it a wonderful gift for them.

Are you going to save it for Christmas presents? It would be a cheaper way to do it and I'm pretty sure your brothers wouldn't mind.

Tim she wouldn't tell you because we read this.

You're right. Last night we played Chemewa ( 3-A private indian school, for those of you who don't know Corbett's a 2-A school) and beat them 48-0. Thank you Evan, John, and Sara for attending the game. Pastor was there for most of it too.
