Sittin' On My Porch

There seems to be only one way to sum this camping weekend up. Yes, a picture is a thousand words. God gave us amazing weather, except for that one night was really cold. No complaints. One day Evan was drawing tattoos for everyone with a Sharpie. Mom let me ride her new bike around. I knew that it was light and fast, but it really hit me at the top of the hill. Me and my friend Emily were both at the top at the same time, but I quickly zoomed ahead, without pedaling! It was thrilling. I love that bike. I never went disc golfing, and I didn't ever climb up in that tree that the cool people liked being in, but I had a fun time none the less. Katie and I rode around both camping loops and named all the dogs we saw. My favorite was Smoof. Such a cute dog, but among the others there was: Link and Zelda (two dalmatian puppies), Benson and Brooks, Cream Puff (pronounced: p-aw-f who was a really ugly...) and Brittany and John Paul. (Brittany apparently left John Paul for his much cuter friend Flander...) That wasn't all the dogs, just the ones that came to mind. Alisa was wondering how Katie and I remembered them all, but it was easy. Laura can ride on two wheels now!! Mom was teaching her how to ride her bike, and she just went off. No painful scrapes and bruises. I wonder if she will remember the time when she learned to ride her bike. She does have a quirky bike. The chain fell off, so Ian and I fixed it. It was nice to accomplish something like that. I had to take it for just a little spin just to see if everything was up to snaps. Man, I must be crazy or something... Check my flickr for more pictures on Friday. That's when I get more upload space. Life goes on.
