My weekend:

  • Crack the code youth activity. John's team won, but I was able to procure a plastic white fedora. Very th sheik.

  • Playing frisbee in the sun, and getting a sligt sunburn. Mine isn't as bad as everyone else's, but I notice it. They say I just look rosy. See them on my Flickr.

  • Went to a birthday partAy for Chelsea. The Birds house is new, so no shoes inside. I made a few ventures to the van with Kristy, but we didn't want to put our shoes on every time. I wore John's Converse, but Kristy wore Adam Kelley's shoes, Jared Franceus's shoes, and mine. Kristy was teaching me how to waltz in their driveway while everyone was playing pin the tail on the donkey. I had a tribal burning for a baby carrot while we were eating. Then someone payed me 50 cents to eat it. I did. YAY!! When mostly everyone was out side, I dared to try sliding across the floor in my socks. I didn't think it would be that slippery, because I had tried it in the hall earlier. Much to my slight surprise, my feet went a wee bit faster then the rest of my body, and dragged me to the ground. In shorter terms, I fell over on my side. But it was fun!! And I was incredibly hyper. After Katey dragged me off a cozy leather chair to be social, I lost it, but not entirely.

  • Working in the nursery with Mrs. Loper. What a funny lady. I love her. I held the evangelist's kid, Corey, almost the entire time. He was so good, and would smile so big every time I sang; "Behind the clouds, the sun is shi-i-i-ning. There's a great blue sky, -waiting- right behind the clouds." Oh he was so cute. I love kids. *muah*

that bit about the socks reminds me about our musical practice today. On of the actors forgot to take off his tap shoes, and ended up slipping and sliding halfway under the curtain in the middle of one of his lines.

Then another lost his shoes, and was pushed by his girlfriend in the middle of a song, and he fell and lied on the ground for the rest of it. But it was ok, because she was mad at him.

Right. Moral: come see the musical.

7:00 Thu and Fri
4:00 Sat.

Shoot... Will I have to miss the game? idk...
