Sing? Let's Not

Ok, so I was kinda drowned in "music" today. Red Robin played "music" to be heard, American Eagle, Hollister, and somewhere else... Anyway, all this rap, R&B whatever, hip-hop, and rock are getting on my nerves. Does anyone think that any of it can actually be called music? What is the message the artists are trying to send anyway? Maybe a few musical exceptions, but that doesn't mean I'll like it. Props to those who have opinions, and know why.
