Woosh!!
I just looked down an empty Blizzard cup. I think to myself that it would be nice if the cup would be as busy and full as my schedule is right now. On Thursday I went roller skating with church. I used the classy skates rather than in-lines. (I heard that their rental in-lines were terrible anyway.) I prefer old school skates because there is more room for fun and less speed. Groovy is the first word that pops into my mind whenever skating comes up. We played red light, green light, and I judged to see if anyone moved when red light was called. (with the leeway of 1-2-3) Because I judged, they gave me a prize. A free ice-cream from the snack bar. I sold it to Andrew Butterfield for 25 cents less than menu price. Actually, I think Joe gave him the money, but whatever. We had some people afterwards for a fire. On Friday I finished my school early and went over to church to help out with another senior car wash. Business was slow, and it was really warm outside, so some of the seniors betook themselves to the big soapy water buckets. It is quite an art to be able to sit on the edge of a bucket full of water without tipping it over. As a result of the sunshine, I got a nice farmers tan. Friday night I had to play at a music time. (they are more frequent, and less formal) It was such an experience to play a beautiful piece on a Steinway Grand! (from a musicians point of view anyway) Saturday morning mom and I went over to church to help spruce up the building for Easter. I dusted the music room first and I came upon a Patch the Pirate hat the really wanted to be worn around. I gave into it's little humorous cries. The outfit was not yet complete until I found Andy Olson's lab coat from his classroom. Hannah Dutton was fortunate enough to be able to get a picture of me that I have not been able to get my hands on yet. Soccer followed. In the rain we played. It was not fun to be wet, but warm is nice. And we went to yet another get together Saturday night. Home school stuff. Sunday was Easter, and we had lamb for dinner. I was stuffed. Monday I went to school! I sat next to Kristy both days that I did achievement testing. We were slightly naught and wrote notes during class. The only time I really studied for bible quizzing was during down time on a test. Someone might say that homeschoolers have more time to study, but this is not true. For me at least. I worked late after lessons on Monday and Tuesday, and I have yet before me one day of work. Tax season is almost over!! Tonight I placed second in bible quizzing. I was so happy. My adreniline was running so much that I was shaking, but I wasn't cold. It was weird. I must go. I know this isn't like my other posts. It's more informational than storyized.
